Celebrate this Christmas with our Golden Trio, awarded at the 23rd edition Mundus Vini in Berlin
Vermador Barrique 2017 and Pinoso Cepa 50 2017, organic and vegan wines, along with the brand new recently presented Diapiro Roble 2017, have been awarded with golden medals at this international wine contest in Berlin. On one hand, Vermador Barrique represents a selection of the best organic vineyards of Monastrell, joined by the legendary Syrah. Separately fermented, later on they are being put together in new American and French oak barrels during 4 months, which gives them that very peculiar hint that makes the difference. A world of red fruits, mixed berry jam with a touch of vanilla and spices. On the other hand, Pinoso Cepa 50 is a wine made with organic grapes only, coming from the oldest 50-year-old Monastrell vines. Stands out its softness and balance, its velvet and flavorful tannins as well as some ripe fruit hints.
The third golden medal has gone to Diapiro Roble, a recently produced wine. A mix of old and controlled yield Monastrell vines, located at the slopes of the Cabezo de la Sal mountain, combined with the fruity freshness of Tempranillo and the concentration of Merlot, resulting in a fully balanced wine which evokes endless sensations. A complex and elegant wine manufactured as a tribute to those growers from whom we inherited the passion for our land.
During the celebration of the Mundus Vini contest, Vermador Barrique, Pinoso Cepa 50 and Diapiro Roble competed with 4.311 different wines coming from 42 different countries. This international contest lasted four days and our wines were submitted to blind tastings carried out by 175 wine experts coming from 40 different countries.
These three gold medals proof that Bodegas Pinoso keep gaining followers both, inside and outside our borders. High quality raw material and the hard work of the 250 families that form Bodegas Pinoso result in round balanced wines, easy to drink with a well defined personality. Highly appreciated wines nationwide as well as abroad since they are exported to over 20 countries of Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
Let´s make a toast to a wonderful 2019 with our Golden Monastrell!!!
